Project Management Services – eScholar services can provide complete project management for your eScholar Uniq-ID or eScholar Complete Data Warehouse project. Our team of PMP certified professionals will handle the overall responsibility for a project's successful implementation. Our team has developed a specific set of project guidelines, processes, procedures and standards for eScholar projects based on our work with customers over the last 12 years. If your team is going to take responsibility for project management, eScholar services can provide review services to help your team increase the likelihood of success. These review services include:
Project Plan Review Services – eScholar services professionals will work with your project managers to provide guidance on the five components needed to ensure successful eScholar project execution: Installation Planning, Configuration, Testing, Best Practices and Trouble Shooting.
Best Practices and Troubleshooting Review Services - as the technology and implementation leader in educational data warehousing since 1998, eScholar has developed many of the Best Practices that define the industry. Take advantage of what we have learned in working with district, state and federal education agencies through the Best Practices and Troubleshooting Review Services.
Data Mapping Services – eScholar will work with your team to identify source data elements for each data element in the target environment. Once identified, the eScholar team will populate the eScholar data dictionary with the templates mapped out for the data to be loaded into the eScholar Complete Data Warehouse.
Data Loading Services - if your team does not have the experience to prepare data and load the data warehouse, eScholar can provide comprehensive services to load data into the eScholar Complete Data Warehouse. This service includes loading template formatted data into the data warehouse. This will also include error checking, analysis and reports, and strategies on how to deal with erroneous data.
Data Extraction / Transform / Load Services – eScholar services will work with your team to create your data dictionary, create extract routines for extracting data from your operational data sources (SIS or other external data sources), transforming the data which includes cleansing, aggregation, summarization, integration, as well as basic transformation (e.g., 1 becomes "Male" 2 becomes "Female"), and loading the data into the eScholar Complete Data Warehouse.
Data Quality Services - eScholar recognizes the importance of data quality to the success of your data warehouse initiative(s). To assist you, the eScholar services group has developed both awareness and reporting services. eScholar services can help educate your business analysts, developers, and key managers on data quality concepts and how to ensure improved data accuracy. eScholar services can then work with your team to create reports to identify the integrity of your data, data errors, and data anomalies. eScholar services then will assist in putting in place the processes to correct those identified problems and the longer term processes to deal with future issues.
