eScholar® can assist states and districts to plan for and deal with the requirements of a number of key initiatives including EDEN reporting, Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), Highly Qualified Teachers (HQT) and others.

Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Services: eScholar can assist states to establish the measurement and reporting environment to ensure that all schools and districts make Adequate Yearly Progress. According to the U.S. Department of Education, AYP is a diagnostic tool that determines how schools need to improve and where financial resources should be allocated.  Schools are held accountable for the achievement of all students, not just average student performance. The eScholar AYP services solution will enable states to handle all calculations and business rules, and produce results that are precise and reportable to the federal government.

EDEN Implementation Services:  eScholar can assist state education agencies (SEAs) to put in place the processes and reporting infrastructure to meet the EDFacts requirements established by the U.S. Department of Education. Our services solution provides the preliminary mapping of the elements required for each EDEN file specification.  Our EDEN templates define the layouts and business rules for creating files that can be loaded into our CDW.  Each template contains defined fields, field length, and data type information.  We also supply sample data values and where applicable matching NCES data handbook element numbers are also provided. 

HQT Consulting Services: eScholar can work with educational agencies to establish a data and reporting infrastructure to ensure that K-12 public school teachers of core academic subjects meet the "highly qualified teacher" (HQT) requirements.
