| Most advanced K-12 longitudinal data system delivers integrated data for informed decision-making
March 14, 2006 (White Plains, NY) — eScholar, the nation’s leader in K-12 data warehousing systems, today released Version 7.1 of the eScholar Complete Data Warehouse™. This update to the most comprehensive data warehouse in K-12 education keeps school districts and state education agencies in synch with the evolving federal reporting requirements. Enhancements include new definitions for race, ethnicity, and hundreds of other data elements. The eScholar Complete Data Warehouse brings together, into a single integrated data environment, a broad set of school district data from various sources, and makes the data accessible for easy and thorough analysis.
Developed in response to the rapidly expanding needs of eScholar’s thousands of customers, this new “point release” of the eScholar Complete Data Warehouse addresses reporting and analysis requirements faced by school districts throughout the country. In addition to meeting new data requirements, version 7.1 is optimized for the latest release of Microsoft’s SQL Server – SQL Server 2005. The eScholar Complete Data Warehouse is also compatible with IBM’s DB2, Oracle and SQL Server 2000. It includes broadly supported data sourcing templates to provide easy extraction capabilities from operational or source systems.
Through the rapid integration of new capabilities, eScholar continues to leverage the data standards set by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and SIF (Schools Interoperability Framework Association) to provide “best of breed” education industry reporting, analysis and decision-making.
